<p><a title="We've picked something up on radar!" href="http://flickr.com/photos/60648084@N00/3029452838"><img class="alignright" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3191/3029452838_9da02e1326_m.jpg" alt="3029452838 9da02e1326 m My Tech Predictions (Wish List) for 2010" width="240" height="180" title="My Tech Predictions (Wish List) for 2010" /></a></p>
<h2>TECHNOLOGY</h2>
<ol>
<li><strong>Cloud Computing &amp; Virtualization</strong> will double in usage by businesses.</li>
<li><strong>Mobile &amp; web analytics</strong> will play a larger role in business intelligence.</li>
<li>Consumer&#8217;s <strong>consumption of digital media</strong> (music, movies, games, etc&#8230;) will be at an all-time high. More networks will broadcast TV shows &amp; sports online, in real-time. <strong>Netflix</strong> will have full online distribution.</li>
<li><strong>T</strong><strong>raditional media publishing</strong> (printed newspapers/magazines) outlets will continue taking several hard losses &amp; 25% will close up shop or go online distribution only.</li>
<li><strong>Online education</strong> for schools &amp; universities will see a new highs in terms of students, profits &amp; the technology wars will really heat up in this arena.</li>
<li>Adobe will establish itself as <strong>THE ubiquitous media platform.</strong></li>
<li>General consumers realize <strong>augmented realit</strong><strong>y</strong> == FAIL. Don&#8217;t get me wrong I think AR has a number of applications for the military and other occupations, but I think for the general consumers its fluff.</li>
</ol>
<h2>MOBILE</h2>
<p><a title="Simmy is iTrapped" href="http://flickr.com/photos/14335451@N00/802270297"><img class="alignright" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1260/802270297_fad3c4d826_m.jpg" alt="802270297 fad3c4d826 m My Tech Predictions (Wish List) for 2010" width="240" height="180" title="My Tech Predictions (Wish List) for 2010" /></a></p>
<ol>
<li>An <strong>eBook R</strong><strong>eader </strong>that does more than just read PDFs for the price of a Cadillac.</li>
<li><strong>Multi-touch</strong>, personal <strong>mobile devices</strong> (i.e. iPhone &amp; Droid) will continue to grow &amp; dominate the market.</li>
<li><strong>Google </strong>will release its <strong>GPhone </strong>(Android of course).</li>
<li><strong>Apple</strong> will see a nice growth in sales of <strong>iPhone </strong>&amp; computers this year &amp; Apple will open its doors to other service providers (about damn time).</li>
<li>There will be less concern with desktop operating systems (Mac OS X &amp; Windows 7) and more focus on operating systems that can do that same tasks from the <strong>convenience of your hand</strong>.</li>
</ol>
