Well I just placed my order for my iPhone 3Gs, but only after AT&T/Apple changed their upgrade policies.
Previous I posted, “Apple and AT&T Give Existing iPhone Customers the Finger…, where AT&T and Apple said any previous iPhone owner is getting screwed if they want to upgrade to the new phone.
NOW, current iPhone users (remember I just got my first iPhone 2 months ago) can upgrade to the new iPhone 3Gs at the price of $199 for the 16GB & $299 for the 32GB.
This comes about due to a great number (actually 16,673) of angry Twitter users that signed the Twitition (Twitter + Online Petition app).
To AT&T & Apple, thank you for listening.

I thought it was for customers who had the 3G for a year?
